Safe Rooms by Best Storm Shelters

Our safe rooms are constructed of A36 3/16" plate steel with 3/16" C channel for bracing.  The 36" door is manufactured from two sheets of 14 gauge steel with "Z" bracing and has three (3) dead bolt locks installed.  Ventilation is provided through two 4: vents and the unit comes equipped with two electrical boxes.

The unit has been tested and certified at Texas Tech University, Wind Engineering Research Center.

Available sizes are as follows:

4' x 4'
4' x 8'
6' x 8'
8' x 8'

The units are recommended for new construction installation or can be placed in existing garages.  The unit will be fastened to the existing slab utilizing 1/2" epoxy anchors.
